The Qatar Olympic Committee have renewed their deal as a Silver Partner with SportAccord Convention ©SportAccord ConventionApril 6 - The Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) will be continuing as a Silver Partner for this year's edition of the SportAccord International Convention, which started here today. 


It is part of the QOC's continuing strategy to help promote the country through sport and develop relationships with international federations. 

"We have enjoyed a long and rewarding relationship with the QOC," said Nis Hatt, managing director of SportAccord Convention.

"As Qatar gets ready to host the 12th FINA World Swimming Championships, the 2015 Handball World Championships and other international events, the 2014 SportAccord Convention is the perfect platform to network and generate the necessary interaction among delegates and federations."

As part of the partnership, QOC will be sponsoring the 2014 SportAccord Convention Recharging Zone which will provide delegates with the opportunity to meet, recharge and network with the sports industry's top decision makers.

"The Qatar Olympic Committee is delighted to partner with SportAccord Convention," said Sheikh Saoud Bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, secretary general of the QOC.

"We look forward to creating a partnership that will result in key decision makers engaging to discuss the major topics affecting the development of the global sports industry."
