More than 30 medallists from last year's Paralympic Games are set to compete at the second World Para Athletics Grand Prix of the season, due to begin in Tunis tomorrow.

The event in the Tunisian capital, scheduled to conclude on Saturday (April 15), will feature nearly 190 athletes from 13 countries.

This includes all five athletes from the host country who claimed gold medals at Rio 2016.

Walid Ktila, winner of the T34 100 metres title at Rio 2016, and Paralympic T38 1500m champion Abbes Saidi are among the entries.

Somaya Bousaid, who clinched the T13 1500m crown, F32 club throw and shot put gold medallist Maroua Brahmi and Raoua Tlili, another winner of two gold medals in Rio de Janeiro, are also competing.

All five competitors will be hoping to use home advantage at the Tunis International Meeting, the only World Para Athletics Grand Prix to be held in Africa.
