Isuzu UTE Australia have been named as the official automotive party partner for this year’s Rugby League World Cup.

The company will have their brand displayed at games played at the tournament taking place in Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea between October 26 and December 2.

Fans will also be able to experience the steepest four-wheel drive testing ramp with a special facility at the Brisbane Stadium during the first semi-final and final, which are being played there.

“We are delighted to welcome Isuzu UTE Australia as a major partner of the Rugby League World Cup 2017,” said Andrew Hill, the competition’s chief executive.

“As the tournament’s Organising Committee, we made a deliberate decision to take the event as far and wide as we possibly could, so it’s very fitting that Isuzu UTE Australia, with dealerships across the country, have become the official automotive partner of the Rugby League World Cup 2017.”

This year’s competition will be the 15th time it has been held.

There will be 14 teams at the tournament with 28 games split between four groups.

Australia are the defending champions after defeating New Zealand 34-2 in the 2013 edition final at Old Trafford in Manchester, England.
