Colombia's Sara López produced another superb performance to claim a fifth successive Archery World Cup title today in Shanghai.

She beat Danish opponent Sarah Sonnichsen in a second successive Shanghai final to gain a 28th consecutive match victory.

López began with two perfect 30s in the first three ends to move three points clear of a rival who did not manage a single 10 throughout.

The 15-arrow matchplay world record holder posted another 30 to complete a 148-144 victory.

“I started very relaxed in my match and I think this is the best way to start the year.

"The match against Sarah was a rematch from last year and I think that she wanted to beat me this time.”

Another Sarah - Belgium’s Sarah Prieels - completed the podium by beating beat Indonesia's Dellie Threesyadinda 142-138 for bronze.
