Polina Khonina took the all around title as well as two individual gold medals at the Pabellón Multiusos Guadalajara.

Her compatriot Ekaterina Selezneva won the other two solo titles while Russia also prevailed in the team all-around final and the three balls and two ropes competition.

Only Japan’s victory in the five hoops final prevented a Russian clean sweep.

In the all-around event, Khonina finished top of the standings with a total of 68,700 points.

Selezneva took second place on 67,650 while Alina Harnasko of Belarus rounded out the top three on 67,150.

Khonina's first individual title arrived in the ball discipline, where she scored 18,400.

Selezneva took second with the ball on 18,050 while Harnasko finished narrowly behind on 18,000.

Khonina then doubled her tally by taking first place in the clubs with a score of 18,050.

She finished well in front of the rest of the field with her nearest rival, Uzbekistan's Anastasiya Serdyukova, finishing on 16,600 in second.

Third place went to Viktoriia Mazur of Ukraine on 16,400.

Selezneva reached the top of the podium twice on finals day with both the hoop and the ribbon.

She won the hoop final after her performance achieved a score of 17,800.

Harnasko took second on 17,200 while Japan's Kaho Minagawa finished third with 17,050.

In the ribbon event, Selezneva once again proved too strong as she posted a winning score of 17,800.

Serdyukova won her second silver of the day with 16,800 with Belarus' Julia Evchik rounding out the top three on 16,700.

Host Spain’s highest finisher was Natalia Garcia after she took seventh in the all-around classification on 64,250. 

In the team events, Russia were unstoppable as they won the all-around competition with a score of 36,550.

Ukraine took silver on 36,350 while Belarus' score of 35,300 proved good enough for third.

In the team apparatus finals, Japan caused an upset as they won the five hoops event with a score of 18,600. 

Belarus and Ukraine finished level on 18,350, but it was Belarus who took the silver medal after achieving a higher execution score of 8,650 to Ukraine’s 8,350.

Another gold went to Russia in the final with three balls and two ropes, where they outscored Ukraine and Japan.

Russia won on 18,850 while Ukraine took silver with 18,350 and Japan claimed bronze on 18,300.

The 2017 FIG World Challenge Cup series is due to continue with a three-day event in German capital Berlin, starting on July 7.
