India's Srikanth Kidambi knocked out South Korea's second seed Son Wan-ho to reach the final of the Badminton World Federation (BWF) Indonesian Open.

The 24-year-old triumphed 21-15, 14-21, 24-22 in the last four of the Super Series event at the Jakarta Convention Center.

It means he has set-up an all-unseeded final against Japan's Kazumasa Sakai.

The latter denied a second Indian a place in the showpiece game by beating Prannoy Kumar 17-21, 28-26, 21-16 in an epic clash.

Kumar had already knocked out top see Lee Chong Wei of Malaysia and China's Olympic champion Chen Long but his run was to come to an end.
