All four individual world number ones will be present when the third leg of the Archery World Cup season takes place in Salt Lake City in the United States from tomorrow.

Competition with the Olympic recurve bow will include men's ranking leader Jean-Charles Valladont of France, the Rio 2016 Olympic silver medallist, and female counterpart Ki Bo Bae of South Korea.

In compound competition, Denmark's Stephan Hansen and Sara Lopez of Colombia will be among the field.

Valladont will be aiming for consecutive titles after winning at the second stage of the season in Antalya in Turkey earlier this month.

Hansen also boasts a victory this term, winning the season-opener in Chinese city Shanghai in May.

Lopez and Ki, a triple Olympic champion, were also successful in Shanghai with the Salt Lake City event key for archers aiming to qualify for the World Cup Final in Rome in September.

Nobody has yet booked their spot at the event, but Lopez is among three archers who just needs a points finish to ensure her place in the Italian capital.

Denmark's Sarah Sonnichsen, the women's compound winner in Antalya and runner-up in Shanghai, is in the same boat as Lopez as well as Russia's Ksenia Perova, the women's recurve champion in Turkey.

Triple Olympic medallist Brady Ellison will provide home hope in the men's recurve.

Only one more World Cup event will take place after Salt Lake City, in German capital Berlin in August.

The circuit has never visited the Utah city before, which is better known for winter sports and hosted the 2002 Winter Olympic Games.

Competition will take place at the Easton Salt Lake Archery Centre, beginning tomorrow with qualification rounds in all categories.

Women's, men's and mixed team events will also be held using both bows.
