France and Spain won their EuroBasket Women semi-finals today in the Czech Republic to qualify for tomorrow’s final.

The Spanish were the first of the two teams to reach the showpiece event after they saw off Belgium 68-52 at the Prague Arena.

Alba Torrens produced a 20 point performance for her side to help them through.

The second semi-final went to the French as they defeated Greece, appearing in the competition’s last four the first time, 77-55.

Endene Miyem top scored for France with 13 points to her name.

It will be the third time the two nations have met in the final.

On both occasions, in 1993 and 2013, Spain came out on top.

In the class 5-8 round, Latvia and Turkey will face-off for fifth place tomorrow after both won at the Prague Arena.

Latvia defeated Italy 68-67 in a thrilling game before Turkey got the better of Slovakia 72-56.
