Two days of important International Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation (IBSF) meetings are due to begin tomorrow in Salt Lake City with Pyeongchang 2018 and the awarding of three World Championships likely to top the bill.

Discussions are scheduled to begin tomorrow in the 2002 Winter Olympic host city with the Pre-Congress, before the full IBSF Congress a day later.

At the latter event, the location of the 2021 IBSF World Championships will be revealed.

Hosts will also be named for next year's IBSF Para World Championships and Summer Push World Championships.

IBSF President Ivo Ferriani will give an opening speech at the full Congress, followed by a report from Pyeongchang 2018.

The Games - due to take place between February 9 and 25 in the South Korean county - will likely never be far away from the discussions in the American city.

The Pre-Congress tomorrow will see reports from IBSF vice presidents Ben Sandford, David Tomatis, Darrin Steele, Andreas Trautvetter and Adam Pengilly.

They will cover legal affairs, marketing and events, sport, corporate and finance and international affairs respectively.

Athletes' representative Peter van Wees, a Dutch skeleton racer, will also present to delegates, with a report then scheduled from the IBSF's media and marketing partner, Infront Sports & Media.

In all, 130 participants are expected in Salt Lake City, including representatives from 35 national governing bodies.

Race organisers and track officials will also be present.

USA Bobsleigh and Skeleton and the Utah Olympic Legacy Foundation have offered delegates a guided tour and dinner at the Salt Lake City Natural History Museum.
