Poland’s Agnieszka Skrzypulec and Irmina Mrozek retained the overall lead in the women’s competition at the 470 World Championships at the Nautical Club of Thessaloniki.

It came on a day in which light wind delayed the action on the Greek course.

The Polish duo continued their perfect record of top three finishes after a third place in the one race held today.

Great Britain's Hannah Mills and Eilidh McIntyre remain in second place despite crossing 11th today.

Tina Mrak and Veronika Macarol of Slovenia lie third overall after a fifth place finish.

Nadine Boehm and Ann-Christin Goliass won today's sole race but remain down in 20th overall.

On the men's side Anton Dahlberg and Fredrik Bergstrom of Sweden remain in the lead despite a poor 18th place finish in today's only race.

That performance was discarded, but one more poor result means they may fall down the leaderboard.

Austria's David Bargerh and Lukas Mahr lie second after a fourth place finish today while London 2012 Olympic champion Mathew Belcher and Will Ryan of Australia sit in third place after crossing 10th today.

Giacomo Ferrari and Giuliu Calabro of Italy rose to sixth place overall after winning today's race.

Action will continue tomorrow.
