Russia thrashed Georgia 11-1 to stay top of Group B at the International Blind Sports Federation European Football Championships in Berlin.

The Russians moved on to a record of two victories and one draw as they eased past their opponents at the Lilli-Henoch-Sportplatz in the German capital.

Their performance at the tournament so far includes a victory over defending champions Turkey.

Elsewhere in the group, Spain claimed a comfortable 4-0 win over Belgium.

It means they sit second behind Russia, also on seven points, with the top two at the end of group play progressing to the semi-finals.

Russia top the pile currently as their goal difference is one better.

In Group A, England beat Italy 6-0 to remain as the last undefeated side at the tournament.

They have yet to concede a goal in their three matches to date.

The clash between France and Romania ended in a 0-0 draw.

It meant a first point for the Romanians, while France now sit third.
